英文印刻的黑膠唱片 Gramophone Record

     five for fighting，譯為掙脫合唱團，其實這個詞是曲棍球術語，球員如果犯規造成曲棍球場上失控的衝撞場面，會讓他先下場休息五分鐘，以此做為警惕，喜歡曲棍球的John Ondrasik以five for fighting作為團名。five for fighting 是個一人團體，一人作曲、作詞、彈琴、彈吉他，有時專輯製作也由他操刀，在美國９１１時寫一首『１００years』撫慰許多受傷人的心，他的音樂風格吸引許多樂迷。

      知道他是因為這首歌，用他溫暖的嗓音唱出來吸引著我，我很愛他的聲音，清亮卻不失溫柔，尤其是what if 這首歌，MV中講述一個小男孩與機器人的故事，機器人知道這男孩在垂死邊際於是把心給了他，男孩就因此可以甦醒，之後機器人成為他的玩伴陪伴他，男孩長大後，機器人健康不太樂觀(也許是因為把心給了男孩吧！)最後機器人還是過世了，男孩用氣球讓他飛向天際。

     有關這歌詞，起先看不大懂什麼含義，中文不太好翻出，因怕會錯意，去國外的網友的看法，以及去five for fighting的官網，才得知這首歌的背景，five for fighting看到美國人常常沉浸在瞬間感知和文化的刻板印象，當我們試著去了解彼此經驗和看法，去體諒，多點同情心與關愛，世界也許悄悄改變。
